During the birthday party celebration of my child I observed that a few of the children invited to the party were not eating the cake slice offered to them.

On enquiring I was informed that their parents had instructed them not to eat any Non-veg products at the party and the cake was made with egg.

My introduction into the world of cooking started as a helper assisting my mother in the kitchen. I was given the job of applying a spoon of oil on the chapattis once they had fluffed up on the tava. The aroma of freshly baked chapattis would fill up the house, signaling to all that food was ready. The little bit of dough that gets left over as it is too small to roll into a proper chapatti would be given to me as payment for my help and I would then proceed to try and make my own chapatti. Even though it was small, never perfectly round like the others, It was to me the tastiest chapatti I had ever eaten. The joy of cooking is an experience waiting for you too. There are so many different things to try and no matter how your results are, you will want to cook more and more. Many people now are cooking for pleasure. They consider this act as a hobby.
